In 1971, when Harold Leyse and his partner Don Hanson started ADAM'S, Harold wanted a unique company name, logo, tag line, etc. that would stand out.
He and his partner thought about naming the company after themselves, but thought better of it. What if they were to sell it one day and the new owners were to trash their name and reputation?
That's when Harold came up with "ADAM", the logo, along with the tag we still use today:

What Harold and Don meant by this there have been pests since beginning. Look closely at the Adam's apple.

Pests have always existed and will always exist. They say only cockroaches will survive a nuclear blast! The total mass of all the ants on earth weigh more than all the humans! Many pests are not a result of poor sanitation, so don't be embarrassed to hire a professional.
