Why Control Mosquitoes?
All too often, people think the Minnesota State Bird is the mosquito. Mosquitoes spread diseases that kill people - millions of people overseas, but even many people in the united states. Not every mosquito bite spreads of disease, but every bite is annoying, and if there are enough around, they tend to drive us indoors or try various repellents.

These include dog heartworm, West Nile virus and Eastern equine encephalitis.
In addition, mosquito bites can cause severe skin irritation through an allergic reaction to the mosquito's saliva. This is what causes the red bump and itching. Mosquito vectored diseases include protozoan diseases such as malaria and viruses such as dengue, encephalitis and yellow fever.

This plant-friendly process is used on bushes, trees and other surfaces around your home where mosquitoes are most likely to land. The treatments help control roughly 85% of the mosquitoes within the treatment area. The treatments will also help with fleas and ticks that are carried into your yard on raccoons, squirrels, mice, and other wildlife.
Adam's Mosquito Control Option C: Mosquito Misting System For Homes
Adam's automatic system emits a fine mist of insecticide every night around sunset and every morning around sunrise to give you the best possible mosquito control available, all season long. Adam's mosquito misting system can also help control other unwanted insects like spiders, flies, gnats and "no-see-ums". It is easy to use, fully automatic, and almost disappears into the landscaping.
The system includes small, misting nozzles that are placed strategically in the area you want to protect. The misting unit automatically agitates the insecticide to ensure a consistent blend of ingredients, then automatically initiates a 30 - 60 second mosquito-killing mist at pre-programmed times. The system can recognize a leak and shuts off until its repaired. It can even be configured with a sensor so that the system will inhibit misting if the wind is too strong.
