Why Pests Don’t Care About the Economy or the News

Pest problems don’t take a break — not for bad news, economic downturns, or even global events. While the rest of the world adjusts to rising costs and uncertainty, pests continue to infest homes and businesses without hesitation. Whether it’s ants marching into your kitchen, rodents chewing through wires, or bed bugs hitching rides in luggage, pests remain a constant threat that demands attention year-round.
At Adam’s Pest Control, we understand that pest behavior doesn’t change just because the world does. That’s why our expert technicians stay prepared with up-to-date training, proven solutions, and a proactive approach that keeps your environment protected. The pests may not be watching the news, but we are — and we use that knowledge to stay ahead of emerging pest trends and seasonal threats across Minnesota.
Don’t let a pest infestation add to your worries. Whether you’re dealing with a minor nuisance or a full-blown invasion, Adam’s has the tools, team, and experience to restore your peace of mind. Just like our motto says, “There were even pests in the Garden of Eden.” They’re always around — but with the right partner, you don’t have to face them alone.
Pests Don’t Watch the News — They Just Keep Coming
Everyone knows that the economy isn’t very good right now, except pests. They bite, sting, contaminate, infest, damage, spread disease, regardless of the economy. Like we say on our business cards, “There were even pests in the Garden of Eden”. Our logo has Adam holding an apple with a larvae sticking out of it, although very hard to see. To us, this means pests have always been here and they are always going to be here.
So in this economy, I’m sure every pest control company has taken on more cancels than they normally would, but how is business overall? Well, we’ve grown every year since 1971, in part, because pests don’t watch or read the news. Maybe people shouldn’t pay as close attention to it either – I wonder if our economy wouldn’t be as bad right now if we didn’t hear about just how bad it is all the time.
