Recently we were called to a facility that had bed bugs in a room with sensitive electronics. Elsewhere in this same facility another company had recommended that carpeting and furniture be thrown out, and then the room be taken out of commission for 6 weeks while they used chemicals to attack a bed bug problem there.
I wonder if they would have recommended these high end electronics be thrown out too? Perhaps that’s why the professionals here at Adam’s were called in to get rid of the bed bugs. You see, our heat treatments will eliminate all bed bugs, even ones in and around electronics, without damaging the electronics. Many people are concerned about the possibility of heat damaging electronics, but at the temperatures we are using, we’ve yet to see it and don’t view it as likely.
In this case, the heat treatments probably saved the expensive electronics!
